Travel funding
The IET Travel Awards are for members travelling to conferences and events as part of their professional development. We can award grants of up to £1,500 for international travel and up to £600 for national travel.

If you require a letter of invitation to assist with your visa application, you must register for the conference and make payment before requesting one.
You can request a letter of invitation by completing our online Letter of Invitation Request for VISA Application form. Please note that you cannot complete the form without your registration confirmation number.
Your letter of invitation will be sent the Friday following your request.
Group booking discounts
Groups of 10 or more delegates are eligible for a 10% discount.
This discount applies to standard delegate registrations only and is not available for student registrations. The discount applies solely to the registration fee.
Authors may be included as part of a group booking; however, any complimentary ("free") delegate place awarded through the group discount cannot be allocated to an author.
Please note that payment must be made in full when registering groups online. If you need to pay for your group by proforma invoice, please contact events@theiet.org.
