Travel information 

From Incheon International Airport (ICN)

Train & Subway

  • Route: Take the AREX All-Stop train from Incheon Airport to Seoul Station. At Seoul Station, transfer to Subway Line 4 (light blue line) heading towards Danggogae, and get off at Dongdaemun Station (Exits 8 or 9 are near the hotel entrance).
  • Time: The total journey time is approximately 70-90 minutes, including transfers.
  • Cost: The total fare is approximately KRW 5,500 - 8,000.

Airport Limousine Bus (Recommended for ease with luggage)

The Bus 6702 (KAL Limousine) offers a direct route with a stop right at the hotel entrance.

  • Route: Board the bus at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. The bus journey takes approximately 50-60 minutes, depending on traffic.
  • Cost: The fare is approximately KRW 18,000 - 24,000.
  • Note: Another bus, the 6002, also runs a nearby route, stopping at Jongno 6-ga Dongdaemun Market, which is about a block away.

Taxi

  • A taxi ride from Incheon Airport to the hotel takes around 50 minutes, depending on traffic, and costs approximately KRW 75,000-95,000. 

From Gimpo International Airport (GMP)

Subway (Recommended for speed and cost)

  • Route: Take the direct Subway Line 5 (purple line) from Gimpo International Airport Station to Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station. The journey takes about 46 minutes. From there, the hotel is a short walk.
  • Cost: The fare is approximately KRW 1,800 - 1,950.
  • Alternative Subway Route: Take the AREX train to Seoul Station, then transfer to Line 4 to Dongdaemun Station (Exits 8 or 9). This option is slightly faster (around 32 minutes total travel time) but involves a transfer and more walking.

Bus

  • Route: The Airport Bus 6021 goes to the Euljiro Co-op Residence stop, which is nearby the Dongdaemun History & Culture Park station.
  • Cost: The fare is around KRW 7,000.

Taxi

  •  A taxi from Gimpo Airport takes about 23 minutes (in light traffic) and costs approximately KRW 35,000-42,000.
