Theme 2: Advanced methods and tools in grid planning and forecasting

 

Best practices to increase network capacity reliably and cost-effectively. Description and evaluation of new planning principles and their impact on grid development strategies and asset management. Demonstrating the use-cases and value of digital twin technologies in long term forecasting and planning, addressing new load types (incl. storage and flexibility), uncertainties, and supporting decision-making.

Theme 3: Innovative business models, flexumer interaction and data governance 


Show cases and measures to create customer value and ensure cyber security. Describing the evolution from the prosumer to the flexumer (e.g. data center, Power2X) including business models and regulatory framework conditions. Securing interoperability of data and communication between devices connected to the distribution grid & platform systems, and applying the latest high-level security technologies to protect the distribution system against unauthorized access and data manipulation
